About Us

A vibrant young women-led network transforming the leadership landscape in Tanzania, by equipping university and college female leaders with the tools, confidence, and community to rise, lead, and thrive. We are redefining leadership through mentorship, coaching, and civic engagement, placing young women at the heart of decision-making and social change. We are raising the next generation of women leaders.

Our Story

Following the success of the Niongoze Fellowship, Doyenne Tanzania recognized the need to expand its reach by establishing a supportive network for aspiring young female leaders in higher learning institutions. Thus, Binti Kiranja was born, a network run by young women distinguished by their potential, accomplishments, and commitment to giving back to their communities. The program aims to connect these young leaders with mentors from the Niongoze Fellowship alumnae, fostering a culture of guidance and support. Binti Kiranja is now a successful network coaching, mentoring and training young women leaders in Higher learning institutions and grooming them to be the next generation of efficient and good leaders!

Vision

To have a community with equal leadership opportunities for young girls and women.
